Burn is an R&B song recorded by American singer Usher, for his 2004 fourth studio album, Confessions. Usher wrote the song with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, who also produced it. The theme of the hit song talks about the struggles of breakup in a relationship.
Initially, the song was planned to be released as the album’s lead single but was pushed back due to favorable responses for the song Yeah! It was later released as the second single from the album on March 21, 2004.
