Tongolo is a 2005 afro R&B song by Nigerian recording artist D’Banj, from his debut studio album No Long Thing. It was written by D’Banj and Don Jazzy –who also produced the track and provided additional vocals.
After its release as the lead single from the album, the song became a cross-over hit for D’Banj, thus spearheading his successful solo career backed by Jazzy. Everything about Tongolo is just spectacular; the beat, the rhythm and then, Don Jazzy’s mesmerizing voice.
