The song’s chorus is taken from The Delfonics‘ 1968 song Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love) and samples Enya’s 1987 song Boadicea – she initially wanted to sue them for copyright infringement though. Ready or Not was also sampled in 2003 by R&B musician Mario Winans for his hit song I Don’t Wanna Know.
