Italian group Baltimora released the song Tarzan Boy in April 1985 as the debut single from their first album Living in the Background -on which it was the first track. The song’s chorus utilizes Tarzan‘s signature cry -whoa oh oh oh oh oh- as a rhythmic melodic line.
The song was re-recorded in 1993 as an extended version and has been covered by several artists throughout the years.
Sadly, Tarzan Boy was Baltimora’s only hit.
