“Maps” is a song by American pop-rock band Maroon 5. The song was released on June 16, 2014, as the lead single from their fifth studio album V (2014). The song was written by Adam Levine, Ammar Malik, Benjamin Levin, Noel Zancanella and Ryan Tedder and produced by the latter three.
“Maps” received mainly positive reviews from music critics, with praise going to the song’s melody and chilled-out vibe. However, some criticized the song for being similar to their previous lead single “Payphone“, on their last album Overexposed (2012).
