Daddy Cool is a 1976 disco song recorded by German vocal group Boney M., for their debut studio album Take the Heat off Me. The song was written by George Reyam and Frank Farian –who also produced the track.
It was released as the album’s second single and turned out to be a sleeper-hit as it eventually ended up being commercially successful, becoming the group’s first UK hit.
